Joyful, real and curvy are the words that come to mind, when we think of theCurvycon.

Firstly what is theCURVYcon?  theCURVYcon was a three day event that was carried out in September in New York. This event brought together plus size Brands, Fashionistas, Shopaholics, Bloggers and YouTubers.

Most noteworthy, are the creators behind theCURVYcon, Chastity Garner Valentine and CeCe Olisa.

Chastity of GarnerStyle  offers inspiration and advice to curvy girls who want to achieve their best style. Chastity is inspiring, empowering and always respectful. Chasity’s blogs are about her life, clothes, travels, marriage and many other adventures.

CeCe Olisa is a lifestyle blogger and YouTube personality, who covers topics like fitness, dating and fashion from a plus size perspective. CeCe’s personal motto is,

“Don’t wait on your weight to live the life you want.”

Together the girls tackled topics like confidence, fashion and style, health, fitness, dating, body positivity and everything in between.

For these reasons, we  had to be part of this amazing event. Therefore,  we were proud gift bag sponsors for the 2018 theCURVYcon event.

It was exciting watching these incredible women truly empower other women, by keeping it real. The girls danced, exercised, talked, laughed and shopped. A perfect event for women to get together and build networks and help spread joy.

Joy is contagious.  Similarly to our own philosophy, we want to spread joy.

Finally, the next theCURVYcon event is planned for September 2019.

As global citizens, we are in support of our local and global real curvy girls.
